Lumi is on the Mac now
Lumi now lives on macOS 12 and newer, on both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs. It's the same Lumi with the same faces, dances, costumes and games. One purchase covers 2 computers, and they can be any mix of Windows and Mac.
What's Mac-flavoured
- He sits on your desktop on every Space and has a little icon in the menu bar (no Dock icon).
- Shortcuts use the Mac keys: ⌃⌥Space to talk, ⌃⌥⇧L to show or hide him.
- Your key is kept in the macOS Keychain.
- macOS asks for permissions (microphone, screen, accessibility) only when you switch those features on.
He updates himself
Lumi now checks for new versions by himself. On Windows he installs them in about a minute after a 20-second heads-up (click Not now to skip). On a Mac he opens the download page for you. Your settings, memories and sign-in always stay.
