LumiSetup is a small installer for Windows 10 and 11. It fetches the newest Lumi, puts him on your desktop and in the Start menu, and he peeks out to say hi.

Installing, step by step.

  1. Open LumiSetup

    Find LumiSetup.exe in your Downloads and double-click it.

  2. If Windows asks

    New apps can show “Windows protected your PC”. Click More info, then Run anyway.

  3. Click Install

    About a minute. No admin password, nothing extra installed.

  4. Sign in

    Use the account you bought Lumi with. He peeks out from the screen edge and settles by the clock.

Why does Windows show this?

SmartScreen warns about apps it hasn't seen many times yet. Lumi is new, so you may see it once. Download LumiSetup only from this page, then click More info and Run anyway.

What you'll see

LumiSetup is Lumi's own little installer. It shows his progress as he moves in, adds a Start menu and desktop shortcut, and appears in Windows Settings so you can uninstall him like any other app.
